Rawen Huang

Mr. Rawen Huang is Portfolio Manager of ZhongYi Investment Managers Limited. Previously, he was Director of Associate and Analyst Development at Balyasny Asset Management. Before joining Balyasny in 2023, Mr. Huang was Head of Greater China Strategies at Oasis from 2018 to 2022. Mr. Huang re-joined Oasis following Oasis’ acquisition of Petrel Capital, which Mr. Huang founded in 2015 that invests in small and mid cap stocks in China. Before founding Petrel Capital, Mr. Huang worked for Oasis and Kilometre Capital, two Asia focused hedge funds in Hong Kong. Mr. Huang started his finance career as an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley in New York.

Mr. Huang graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Studies and received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School.
